Khonesavanh Norasane
Khonesavanh Norasane is an experienced academic and researcher in Environmental science, specializing in wastewater management and environmental impact assessment. He completed his MSc at the University of Science (VNU-HUS), focusing on evaluating water quality and developing strategies to ensure its safe and sustainable use in agricultural production. With 10 years of teaching experience, Khonesavanh currently serves as a dean assistant of the Faculty of Engineering at Savannakhet University.
Khonesavanh teaches undergraduate and graduate on topics such as Environmental Engineering, environmental impact assessment, and wastewater management. He is known for his hands-on, experiential learning approach, incorporating fieldwork, case studies, and interactive projects into his curriculum to enhance student understanding of complex environmental issues. His passion for teaching is reflected in his mentorship of students, guiding them in projects related to the assessment of water quality and purpose-appropriate wastewater treatment methods.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Khonesavanh is actively involved in research on water quality monitoring, constructed wetlands, waste management, etc. His research often involves collaborations with local communities, and government agencies to implement sustainable practices.
