George Krasnov
Georgе Krasnov graduated from the Faculty of Molecular Biological Physics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2007. In 2011, he defended his PhD thesis at the graduate school of the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology (Russian Academy of Science), where he works to the present.
Since 2014, bioinformatics, and especially the analysis of next generation sequencing data, has been George’s main scientific interest.
George Krasnov participate various projects related to the analysis of gene expression and its regulation in cancer, the identification of pathogenic germinal variants and driver somatic mutations in cancer, tumor methylation profiling, the analysis of the bacterial composition and metabolic capabilities of various communities (intestinal microflora, WWTP, natural reservoirs and other locations).
