On August 9, representatives of our Club, Vietnam National University (VNU HUS) and Department of Natural resource and Environment of Bac Giang province took part in the international workshop ‘Current status and need for environmental restoration of mining areas and appropriate technology adopting a circular economy approach’ held within the framework of the ASEAN-Russia Project Development of a model of the integrated approach in implementing innovative technologies in agriculture to increase the potential of development of remote areas of the ASEAN countries and Russia classification code: AGF/AGF/23/003/REG. The discussion helped to identify the main environmental issues in Bag Giang province, i.e. restoration of mining areas and wastewater treatment, in order to find possible solutions by joint efforts of all stakeholders.
