AEU Club Expert Nataliya Shchegolkova took part in an international webinar, which was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia, dedicated to the problems of food security, environment and agriculture.
In the course of the event, Prof. Nataliya Shchegolkova presented AEU Club as a newly founded club that unites scientists and professionals in the field of agriculture and ecology from ASEAN countries, Russia and Europe. She pointed out that AEU Club seeks to curb ecological and food security problems by spreading sustainable water treatment and agricultural technologies in the regions where they are most needed. One of the main directions of the Club’s development are sustainable commercial projects with local business in ASEAN countries.
Additionally, AEU Club actively involves students of agriculture and ecology in its functioning, thus helping their professional education and creating the essential foundation for the future of sustainable agriculture in their countries. To facilitate this processes, AEU Club will soon launch its new webinars, which are going to ignite new discussions among students and experts by presenting conflicting scientific points of view.
The presentation raised significant interest among the participants who addressed Prof. Shchegolkova questions concerning developing and future projects and the technologies that AgroEcoUniversum Club promotes. Prof. Shchegolkova told the participants that the club is seeking to foster wastewater treatment technologies with biological decontamination, which is more effective than chemical or physical ones.
The list of participants included governament officials, representatives of international organizations, academia and business.
