Joint ASEAN-Russia project:

“Training of students of environmental specialties in ASEAN countries to develop a methodology for the restoration and maintenance of the ecological balance of Lake Buyan through an experimental project-oriented curriculum.”

The project “Training of students of environmental specialties in ASEAN countries to develop a methodology for the restoration and maintenance of the ecological balance of Lake Buyan through an experimental project-oriented curriculum” started in April.

The idea of the project is future development of the interactive communication network for the exchange of innovative technologies. The project includes the training activities and is aimed at:

    1. training in methods of environmental monitoring of the lake
    2. training in the development of an algorithm for selecting the necessary technological solutions to improve the ecology of the lake
    3. adapting technologies to local conditions

There were conducted a series of online working meetings and visit to Buyan Lake

While discussing the participants of the project from MSU and UNUD. Udayana University was represented by two faculties: Faculty of marine and fishery and Agriculture faculty. That was not only the scientific research but also the training for the students!

The students get knowledge about the dissolved oxygen and depth measurement, trained in making scientific/educational media
