I Wayan Budiasa
I Wayan Budiasa was born in Bali Island, Indonesia in 1970. He is an Associate Professor in Agricultural Economics at Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. He’s been teaching at Udayana University for more than 25 years. Now, he’s a coordinator of Master Program of Agribusiness at Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University and coordinator of Research Center for Sustainable Development at Research and Community Services Institute of Udayana University. He leads research as a project leader for multiple topics including enabling policy of sustainable finance implementation, sustainable ecotourism, agricultural cooperative model for supporting subak-based agribusiness, cost benefit analyses (feasibility study) of agribusiness projects, integrated water resources management. He has some experiences in international collaboration for research project implementation including with Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (Japan) 2011-2016, Japan Institute of Irrigation and Drainage 2015-2016, Moscow State University (Russia) 2013-2018, and SEAMEO-SEARCA (Philippines) 2018-2019. Budiasa holds doctorate in agricultural economics from Gadjah Mada University under the SEAMEO-SEARCA Scholarship.
