Sergey Kharitonov
Graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University, Department of Molecular Biology. My Ph.D. thesis is devoted to the implementation of modern molecular technologies, such as high-performance sequencing in the practice of research and monitoring of biological wastewater treatment systems. In particular, nature-like systems, constructed wetlands, because on the one hand they effectively remove the wide range of pollutants, and on the other they are easy to maintain. My colleagues and I describe the structure of the microbiological community of plants, in order to control the biochemical processes occurring in it, to successfully adapt the plant to various conditions and increase the efficiency of wastewater treatment.
