Isha Basyal
Isha Basyal, is a graduate from the University of Stuttgart on Water Resources Engineering and Management with the major in wastewater management. For the last five years, she has been working in the field of sanitation and specifically in Faecal Sludge Management (FSM). Her major engagement was with the Asian Institute of Technology on the development and dissemination of the FSM Toolbox which was a Bill and Melinda Gates funded project. She also has experience working on different wastewater and FSM related projects from several partner organisations such as the Asian Development Bank, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies and others. She is a certified WASH trainer from CAWST- Canada and has worked on capacity building of the FSM sector professionals from the developing countries in Asia and Africa. Currently, she is engaged with the CWIS-TA Hub South Asia, Nepal office as a Chief Technical Coordinator.
